Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vicente Tavares started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Caranahyba AD's Cássio Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Berger in the 8th minute of play. Vicente Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Paulo Terra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Fernando Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Durvalino Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Vinicio Eriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Luís Paulo Terra reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vinicio Eriz. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 29th minute, Eurico Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldinho Veloso was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ronaldinho Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vinicio Eriz made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Durvalino Simões sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Caranahyba AD booed when Vila Nova F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Paulo Terra made a kick off. Vinicio Eriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durvalino Simões in the 54th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Vicente Tavares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vila Nova F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caranahyba AD the free kick. Artur Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Hermes having to interfere. A collision led to Caranahyba AD getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Artur Paulista hit a great ball. If Radowit Kochniarczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Caranahyba AD's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Tavares came free, but Cássio Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 minutes, Abelardo Gonçalves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caranahyba AD and the Vila Nova F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abelardo Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 93 minutes of play, Caranahyba AD's Luís Paulo Terra made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vinicio Eriz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caranahyba AD's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
