In the 37th minute, Nilton de Alcântara fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cristiano de Andrade, passed just outside the right post. When Wilian Machado came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Apuhy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilian Machado couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Apuhy booed when Capenema PR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilian Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernandinho Mendes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilian Machado's shot from short distance in the 49th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fred Cabral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Cabral in the 53rd minute of play forced Apuhy's goalkeeper Cristiano de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Capenema PR's Fred Cabral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristiano de Andrade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan Trevisan charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Kléberson Cardoso did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Fernandinho Mendes 66 minutes into the match. Fred Cabral scored 1-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristiano de Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, Apuhy's Wilian Machado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernandinho Mendes. Fernandinho Mendes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 81st minute, Nilton de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Eliseu Sergipano came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Apuhy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseu Sergipano couldn't finish the play. Kiko Seco hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Eliseu Sergipano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes in the game, Wilian Machado fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Fernandinho Mendes having to interfere. Eliseu Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernandinho Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilian Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernandinho Mendes made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Eliseu Sergipano sent off a good shot on target.
