When Olavo da Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Covanca SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olavo da Rocha couldn't finish the play. Alfredão Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo da Rocha in the 22nd minute of play. Olavo da Rocha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredão Romero having to make a save. Olavo da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Romero having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olavo da Rocha in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredão Romero saved Moquenho from getting behind. Olavo da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Romero having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Covanca SC's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Ramalho came free, but Cláudio Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olavo da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Brodel got free with Alfredão Romero in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77thth minute of the game Olavo da Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moquenho's Alfredão Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Paulo Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Romero having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Fellipe Paraense got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 89 minutes into the match, Moquenho's goal looked a bit too open when Olavo da Rocha came free, but Alfredão Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes in the game, Olavo da Rocha fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alfredão Romero having to interfere. The Moquenho fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Covanca SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
