Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Haroldo Mesquita kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Guaiaca's Jailson Gaspar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nelsinho Peixoto. Nelsinho Peixoto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 7th minute Haroldo Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duda Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duda Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aírton Marquez struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Duda Bittencourt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aningal. Durvalino Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelsinho Peixoto having to interfere. The supporters of Guaiaca booed when Aningal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nelsinho Peixoto came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Guaiaca's Jailson Gaspar. But to his dismay, Jailson Gaspar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Duda Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haroldo Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Bittencourt having to interfere. Haroldo Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Duda Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jailson Gaspar to make the kick off. 54 minutes in the game, Haroldo Mesquita fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Duda Bittencourt having to interfere. Nelsinho Peixoto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Guaiaca's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aírton Marquez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Haroldo Mesquita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Duda Bittencourt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Durvalino Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guaiaca's supporters rose to their feet, but Durvalino Zanette was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
