Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Igapora FC's Tibúrcio Simões started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 minutes, Germano Ramalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Igapora FC and the Juranda SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Igapora FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Juranda SC a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kléberson de Senna, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Igapora FC's Nando Alcântara. 0-1. Manuel Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Arruda came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rafinha Novaes could save by the left post. Wanderson Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Nando Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juranda SC's Rafinha Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibúrcio Simões in the 18th minute of play. Rafinha Novaes was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Tibúrcio Simões capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tibúrcio Simões really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After 26 minutes, Vivaldo Carioca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juranda SC and the Igapora FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Vivaldo Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Igapora FC's Rafinha Novaes threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tibúrcio Simões, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tibúrcio Simões in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafinha Novaes saved Juranda SC from getting behind. Igapora FC's Nando Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Andrade in the 35th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Igapora FC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Ortiz. Nando Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Luís Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Manuel Arruda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Manuel Arruda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafinha Novaes was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Manuel Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rafinha Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Juranda SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurinho Xavier to maneuver through the defense. Rafinha Novaes came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Igapora FC's Manuel Arruda. But to his dismay, Manuel Arruda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Manuel Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafinha Novaes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Juranda SC's Maurinho Xavier got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 81st minute Luís Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Igapora FC's Kauã Arruda got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Igapora FC booed when Juranda SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurinho Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd match minute, Igapora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Arruda to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Juranda SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Igapora FC.
