After 43 played minutes, Traficantes FC's José Augusto Leite shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fellipe Pirani came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Traficantes FC reached it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ludomil Lanczak to make the kick off. Umberto Mesquita struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Miguel Trancoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parnaso. 1-0 became the score in the 56th minute when Tostão Corrêa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Umberto Mesquita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Parnaso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Traficantes FC the free kick. After 62 played minutes Parnaso got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Mesquita. Ludomil Lanczak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fellipe Pirani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Ulisses de Andrade lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Fellipe Pirani. After a rather tough play, Parnaso's Cauan Senna got a free kick in the 74th minute. Ludomil Lanczak struck a weak shot in the 76th minute.
