Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Delfim Novaes got the match started through his kick off. Alfredinho Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Leão having to interfere. If Alfredinho Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th match minute, Caririzinho AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Lago to maneuver through the defense. Douglas Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aílton de Souza in the 17th minute. After 17 played minutes Caririzinho AD got a freekick which was hit by Kauan Braga. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itaara's goalkeeper Duda Mattos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Douglas Leão made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Aílton de Souza sent off a good shot on target. Caririzinho AD's Douglas Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Varela in the 23rd minute of play. If Aílton de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aílton de Souza's late challenge caught a Caririzinho AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aílton de Souza helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Itaara getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Aílton de Souza hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Aílton de Souza got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alfredinho Varela got in the 32nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Douglas Leão handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Delfim Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Mattos having to interfere. Arlindo Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Duda Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beto de Godoi's late challenge caught a Caririzinho AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beto de Godoi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Beto de Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredinho Varela in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Douglas Leão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 48 minutes, Aílton de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itaara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aílton de Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredinho Varela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Arlindo Rosa could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Duda Mattos however easily saved by the left post. Douglas Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredinho Varela in the 54th minute of the match. Aílton de Souza struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Douglas Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itaara. Duda Mattos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arlindo Rosa in the 60th minute. After 67 played minutes Itaara got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Alagoano. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Delfim Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caririzinho AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Delfim Novaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duda Mattos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Duda Mattos managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Caririzinho AD's Arlindo Rosa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Douglas Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aílton de Souza in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Varela in the 86th minute of play forced Caririzinho AD's goalkeeper Douglas Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Caririzinho AD's Manoel Lago got a free kick in the 90th minute. Aílton de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Alfredinho Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itaara's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredinho Varela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Douglas Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Itaara were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
