Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kléber Alcântara got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Váldson Sampaio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Real Cruz's Jorge do Valle quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Carvalho in the 7th minute of play forced Real Cruz's goalkeeper Juan Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Real Cruz's Carlos Augusto Nóbrega got a free kick in the 12th minute. Angelo de Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Augusto Nóbrega in the 19th minute. Juan Corrêa came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Beritingas AD's Kléber Alcântara. But to his dismay, Kléber Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Kléber Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge do Valle during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Carlos Alberto Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Augusto Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo de Brito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Augusto Nóbrega's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. A hard shot 41 in the game by Carlos Augusto Nóbrega from a close distance when the talented Angelo de Brito managed to make a qualified save. Beritingas AD's players were relieved. After having played for 43 minutes, Jorge do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Cruz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge do Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Augusto Nóbregas short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Angelo de Brito to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half Beritingas AD were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Augusto Nóbrega to strike the kick off in the second half. Kléber Alcântara might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Corrêa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kléber Alcântara ran back to his position shaking his head. After 54 played minutes Real Cruz got a freekick which was hit by Jorge do Valle. After 56 minutes, Hélder Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beritingas AD and the Real Cruz players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Real Cruz booed when Beritingas AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Carlos Augusto Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Cruz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Augusto Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Alberto Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christiano Falcão charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christiano Falcão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hélder Carvalho took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Corrêa. Juan Corrêa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Beritingas AD's zone, Carlos Alberto Batista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo de Brito came out of the goal and Carlos Alberto Batista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Augusto Nóbrega in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo de Brito saved Beritingas AD from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Augusto Nóbrega in the 74th minute of play forced Beritingas AD's goalkeeper Angelo de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Meirelles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beritingas AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Cruz the free kick. After a rather tough play, Beritingas AD's Rodolfo Meirelles got a free kick in the 78th minute. Carlos Augusto Nóbrega blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo de Brito having to make a save. In the 89th minute, Carlos Augusto Nóbrega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute of the match Erasmo Pinho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo de Brito showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Real Cruz manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Beritingas AD to win.
