Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdomiro Linhares in the 5th minute of play forced Augustus Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Olgierd Klimkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of CALIBRES booed when Augustus Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Damião didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olgierd Klimkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Váldson Arantes in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Valdomiro Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olgierd Klimkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, CALIBRES's Luís Guilherme Matos got control of the ball when Olívio Madureira tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, CALIBRES's Gernando Campidelis got a free kick in the 12th minute. The long shot by Ernesto Arantes in the 13th minute really tested Luís Guilherme Matos's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Roi Beamud might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Guilherme Matos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roi Beamud ran back to his position shaking his head. Olívio Madureira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Luís Guilherme Matos made a huge save. Carlos do Valle hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Décio Capixaba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Valdomiro Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olgierd Klimkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdomiro Linhares in the 29th minute of play. Olívio Madureira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Guilherme Matos having to make a save. Olgierd Klimkiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Agenor Lucas came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Augustus Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agenor Lucas couldn't finish the play. In the 48th match minute, CALIBRES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Váldson Arantes made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Váldson Arantes took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Olgierd Klimkiewicz to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 61 minutes, Váldson Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CALIBRES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Váldson Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedrão de Godoy's late challenge caught a CALIBRES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedrão de Godoy helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Augustus Futebol Clube's zone, Décio Capixaba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olgierd Klimkiewicz came out of the goal and Décio Capixaba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute of the match, Váldson Arantes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Olgierd Klimkiewicz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With 95 minutes on the clock, Carlos do Valle commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Augustus Futebol Clube! When the match had been going on for 96 minutes, CALIBRES's Décio Capixaba got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Olgierd Klimkiewicz. The CALIBRES supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CALIBRES would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
