Cido Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Váldson Arantes in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, Uruitá Sport Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís Toscano to maneuver through the defense. If Valdomiro Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cido Velloso made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Gualter da Rocha sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute, Abelardo Nogueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Ferraz kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Uruitá Sport Clube's goalkeeper Cido Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdomiro Linhares.

The wind increased when Váldson Arantes made the kick off in the second half.
