Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Oséas Carioca kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Volta EC's Oséas Carioca slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Telmo Arantes. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. The supporters of Matapi booed when Volta EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Gilson Corrêa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Telmo Arantes. Gilson Corrêa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Telmo Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséas Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matapi's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Oséas Carioca 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Tales Valadares in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Telmo Arantes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Oséas Carioca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Telmo Arantes. That made the score 4-0 in the 30 minute of play. After 34 played minutes, Matapi's Fernandão Pimenta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gilvan Melo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Matapi reached it. In the 37th minute, Oséas Carioca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 38 played minutes Matapi got a freekick which was hit by Erik Travassos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tales Valadares in the 41st minute of play forced Matapi's goalkeeper Telmo Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Oséas Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Volta EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oséas Carioca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telmo Arantes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kléberson Porto made a kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Oséas Carioca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matapi's Telmo Arantes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oséas Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Arantes having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, Volta EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilson Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. If Tales Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st match minute, Matapi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléberson Porto to maneuver through the defense. Tales Valadares hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Volta EC's Gilvan Melo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Volta EC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Volta EC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gilson Corrêa hit a great ball. In the 80th match minute Acácio Netto ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Gilvan Melo. 5-1. If Kléberson Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Volta EC's goal looked a bit too open when Kléberson Porto came free, but Gilvan Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matapi's Telmo Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas Carioca in the 92nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tales Valadares in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Telmo Arantes saved Matapi from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Volta EC fully deserved thier win.
