Cambaratiba AD's Adrian Izvoranu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir do Valle in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Alta booed when Cambaratiba AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iban Campello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reinaldo de Queirós was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Adrian Izvoranu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reinaldo de Queirós in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elói Vaz saved Alta from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Reinaldo de Queirós had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elói Vaz. Alta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reinaldo de Queirós was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. A collision led to Cambaratiba AD getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Luiz Gustavo Souza hit a great ball. Adrian Izvoranu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Cambaratiba AD's Adrian Izvoranu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir do Valle in the 83rd minute of play. Adrian Izvoranu was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Juvenal Fonseca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Juvenal Fonseca really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Alta's goalkeeper Elói Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Meirelles in the 96th minute of play forced Alta's goalkeeper Elói Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alta succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Cambaratiba AD had controlled the match.
