Spayk2's Hélder de Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Pirianito's Felipe Sabóia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Felipe Sabóia charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Sabóia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Pirianito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Pirianito's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Barreto came free, but Jorge Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pirianito's Jorge Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Camargo in the 20th minute of play. Patrick Camargo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurinho Alagoano's late challenge caught a Spayk2's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurinho Alagoano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, Maurinho Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Spayk2 getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Filipe Ferraz hit a great ball. When Romário Vianna fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spayk2's protests and gave Romário Vianna a yellow card for diving instead. Robinho Lucas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Robinho Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Vidal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Barreto's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Pirianito's Lauro Esteves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simão de Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 61st minute Joel da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Alagoano in the 62nd minute of play forced Spayk2's goalkeeper Simão de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrick Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jorge Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Filipe Ferraz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipe Ferraz couldn't finish the play. Patrick Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Vidal having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Robinho Lucas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jorge Vidal, passed just outside the right post.
