Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eugênio Gomes kicked off to start the match. If Eugênio Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Eugênio Gomes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jorge Vidal. The goal made the score 1-0. After 10 minutes, Maurinho Alagoano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pirianito and the Melquiades players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maurinho Alagoano hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Melquiades's Adrianinho Esteves couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pirianito. In the 21st minute, Eugênio Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Felipe Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Sabóia in the 31st minute of play forced Melquiades's goalkeeper Beto Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Felipe Sabóia put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Beto Tinoco. If Cássio Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 played minutes Pirianito got a freekick which was hit by Joel da Mata. Adrianinho Esteves, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felipe Sabóia was the one to do the kick off. Cássio Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jorge Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pirianito fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Pirianito's Felipe Sabóia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ernani Palmeira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Beto Tinoco. Melquiades's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cássio Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jorge Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugênio Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 69 minutes, Cássio Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melquiades's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cássio Prado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lauro Esteves struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Beto Tinoco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirianito. If Cássio Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Pirianito's Beto Tinoco threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felipe Sabóia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cássio Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lauro Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Felipe Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Although Melquiades had been in control for most of the match, Pirianito still came away with the win.
