Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Flávio Moreno made the kick off which started today's match. Enrique Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Itapaje's Mateus Recife proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Itapaje from getting a goal against them. Flávio Moreno scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enrique Abreu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute, Flávio Moreno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itapaje fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Fernandão Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedé Massa in the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Atlético Catarinense's Ulisses de Barros got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute Flávio Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Flávio Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matheus Duarte in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateus Recife prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matheus Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mateus Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulisses de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atlético Catarinense's Geraldo da Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matheus Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Recife having to interfere. When Alfredinho Toscano came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Atlético Catarinense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredinho Toscano couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute Matheus Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Matheus Duarte made the kick off in the second half. Mateus Recife made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matheus Duarte in the 52nd minute of play. Matheus Duarte scored 1-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateus Recife, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Moreno in the 65th minute of play forced Atlético Catarinense's goalkeeper Enrique Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matheus Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mateus Recife came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Catarinense's Jefferson Ceresso. But to his dismay, Jefferson Ceresso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 70th match minute, Itapaje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wellington Gerber to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matheus Duarte in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateus Recife prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Itapaje getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Augusto Negri hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Edson Marques notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Atlético Catarinense's Enrique Abreu. Enrique Abreu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matheus Duarte scored 3-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateus Recife, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wellington Gerber charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wellington Gerber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Itapaje succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Atlético Catarinense had controlled the match.
