After recieving a nice pass, Manso's Alexandre Neto tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Edson Marques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Sabóia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. If Dorian Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edson Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jairo Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Moreno in the 27th minute of play forced Manso's goalkeeper Jairo Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Edson Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Dorian Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manso's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorian Alves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateus Recife breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mateus Recife showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dieguinho Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Dieguinho Negri notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Itapaje's Mateus Recife. Mateus Recife was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Itapaje getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Wellington Gerber hit a great ball. The Itapaje players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Manso were winning 0-2.

Dieguinho Negri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Itapaje booed when Manso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juvenal Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Itapaje's Flávio Moreno in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manso's goalie prevented a goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the game, Dieguinho Negri recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mateus Recife. Dieguinho Negri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. 81 minutes into the match, Manso's goal looked a bit too open when Flávio Moreno came free, but Jairo Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorian Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorian Alves got free with Mateus Recife in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
