Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Paulo Vinhas started the match with the kick off. Arlindo Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Fernandes having to interfere. In the 9th minute Nuno Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinícius de Godoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinícius de Godoy having to interfere. Rui Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlindo Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th match minute, Barraca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Vides to maneuver through the defense. Rui Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Vinhas in the 15th minute of play. If Nuno Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinícius de Godoy came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Barraca's Artur Miranda. But to his dismay, Artur Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Falcão Alves hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Caruara's Vinícius de Godoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Simão in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, João Pedro Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A nice corner shot did that Paulinho de Castro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rui Fernandes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nuno Simão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artur Miranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Vinícius de Godoy made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno Simão was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Paulo Vinhas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Rui Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pedro Paulo Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Barraca's zone, Arlindo Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Fernandes came out of the goal and Arlindo Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Paulo Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Fernandes having to interfere. In the 77th minute of the match Emílio Barral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui Fernandes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vinícius de Godoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Miranda in the 79th minute of the match. Artur Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Vinícius de Godoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arlindo Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frédson Valladares's late challenge caught a Barraca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frédson Valladares helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Frédson Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Artur Miranda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vinícius de Godoy was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. 100 minutes had been played when some careless play by Caruara's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Magno Ferraz was slow to take the kick. During this time Barraca's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Magno Ferraz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vinícius de Godoy quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Caruara's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
