The audience thought a goal was coming when Basílio Lara got free with Zacarias Senna in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. César Meirelles charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César Meirelles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pinhao SC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. The audience was convinced that Basílio Lara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zacarias Senna was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. When Jano Coutinho came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Pontal Sergipe FC fans jumped to their feet. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Meireles was the one to do the kick off. When Belchior Netto fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pinhao SC's protests and gave Belchior Netto a yellow card for diving instead. When Belchior Netto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. A collision led to Pinhao SC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Belchior Netto hit a great ball. Pedrão Teles hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Pinhao SC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Galvão came free, but Zacarias Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Pinhao SC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Rony Senna hit a great ball. Adelino Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Zacarias Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Basílio Lara sped through Pinhao SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zacarias Senna. In the 79th minute, Pontal Sergipe FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luís Paulo de Castro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Basílio Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
