Eugênio Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rômulo Luz having to interfere. The supporters of Muriahe booed when Ipueiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivid Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cafu Leite hit a great ball. Elias Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Orlando de Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Ipueiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando de Carvalho couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ipueiras's Matheus Paulista got a free kick in the 26th minute. Eugênio Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Raúl Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Muriahe's Raúl Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Messias in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ipueiras's Elivélton Matorin got a free kick in the 35th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Eugênio Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muriahe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugênio Reis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Muriahe's Rômulo Luz threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oséias de Azevedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Raúl Esteves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicente Lima's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Messias was the one to do the kick off. Vicente Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Raúl Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ipueiras's zone, Eugênio Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rômulo Luz came out of the goal and Eugênio Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elias Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute Oséias de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duda Andrade hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. When Tony da Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Muriahe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony da Cunha couldn't finish the play. Diogo Guedes kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Chants of Ipueiras echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Muriahe had held the ball for most of the match.
