With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arí Dante in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Augusto Aparecido saved Favela Futebol Clube from getting behind. 23 minutes into the game, Favela Futebol Clube's Baltazar Fernandes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noel Favoretto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 28th match minute, Narrabeen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilson Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Baltazar Fernandes notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Narrabeen FC's Noel Favoretto. Noel Favoretto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the game, Arí Dante recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zé Augusto Aparecido. Angelo Rosa scored 2-3 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Augusto Aparecido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Narrabeen FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Favela Futebol Clube were winning 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Didi Corrêa to make the kick off. Zé Augusto Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
