After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Charles Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Democrata Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Palmeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael Recife breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raphael Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elói Velloso came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Manaparu AD's Manfredo Xavier. But to his dismay, Manfredo Xavier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Charles Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Recife having to interfere. The Democrata Fc fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Democrata Fc's Charles Palmeira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thiago Freitas struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Elói Velloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manaparu AD. Erivaldo Proença struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Elói Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfredo Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Democrata Fc's Charles Palmeira got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Erivaldo Proença fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manaparu AD's protests and gave Erivaldo Proença a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Manaparu AD getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Erivaldo Proença hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manfredo Xavier made a kick off. If Dênis Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raphael Recife showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Raphael Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dênis Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Democrata Fc's zone, Manfredo Xavier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elói Velloso came out of the goal and Manfredo Xavier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the match, Manaparu AD's goal looked a bit too open when Dênis Queiroz came free, but Raphael Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Recife having to interfere. Dênis Queiroz scored 2-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raphael Recife, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raphael Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dênis Queiroz in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Charles Palmeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manfredo Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to Manaparu AD getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Manfredo Xavier hit a great ball. Raphael Recife came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Democrata Fc's Charles Palmeira. But to his dismay, Charles Palmeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Raphael Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dênis Queiroz in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the match Democrata Fc got a corner. Manaparu AD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomás Tepedino ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Tomás Tepedino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Raphael Recife quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Manaparu AD's Raphael Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Palmeira in the 95th minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Dênis Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Democrata Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dênis Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
