Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedrão de Azevedo started the match with the kick off. Pedrão de Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Raphael Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Manaparu AD getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Percival Azevedo hit a great ball. Jarbas Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes Paxua SC got a freekick which was hit by Lino Mangueira. Geovani Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Thiago Freitas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manaparu AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paxua SC the free kick. The supporters of Paxua SC booed when Manaparu AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Manaparu AD's Manfredo Xavier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ciro de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfredo Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reginaldo Leal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciro de Lara having to make a save. Manfredo Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Paxua SC's zone, Thiago Freitas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro de Lara came out of the goal and Thiago Freitas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raphael Recife stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedrão de Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Manfredo Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manfredo Xavier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Pedrão de Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Manaparu AD's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão de Azevedo came free, but Raphael Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Paxua SC's goal looked a bit too open when Manfredo Xavier came free, but Ciro de Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfredo Xavier was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thiago Freitas got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 69th match minute, Manaparu AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thiago Freitas to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Manaparu AD's zone, Jarbas Trigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael Recife came out of the goal and Jarbas Trigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Fábio Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro de Lara having to interfere. In the 77th minute Erivaldo Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Manaparu AD's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão de Azevedo came free, but Raphael Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 83 minutes into the game, when Ernani Sena put in a rough tackle. In the 85th minute of the match Elias Penha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raphael Recife skillfully saved the ball. If Manfredo Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, João Vítor de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedrão de Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reginaldo Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Paxua SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
