In the 13th minute Zé Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgard Andrade during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Campimho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Mané Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Machado in the 16th minute of play. Mané Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Zé Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mané Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Machado in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Campimho's goalkeeper Mané Garcia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Zé Machado came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Murihe SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Machado couldn't finish the play. Mané Garcia made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Duarte Quadros sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

55 minutes into the match, Luís Fernando Lira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mané Garcia. Campimho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Fernando Lira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Zé Machado got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 5-0. 95 minutes into the match. Zé Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murihe SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
