Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Murihe SC's Zé Machado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Toninho da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Décio Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doriva Velloso charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doriva Velloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 minutes, Alexandre Damião mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Murihe SC and the Tataguacu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 12 played minutes Murihe SC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Damião. Tataguacu's Nicolas Pinheiro got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Décio Gonçalves had great luck who in the 18thth minute grab hold of the ball when Betinho Azevedo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Décio Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betinho Azevedo in the 21st minute of the match. Jorge Lima hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Murihe SC's Décio Gonçalves got control of the ball when Toninho da Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Décio Gonçalves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toninho da Cunha in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Murihe SC's Luís Fernando Lira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Brodel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Betinho Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Décio Gonçalves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Betinho Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Vicente Brodel came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Murihe SC's Luís Fernando Lira. But to his dismay, Luís Fernando Lira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Toninho da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio Gonçalves having to interfere.

Ezequiel Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Décio Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Betinho Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Betinho Azevedo scored 1-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Décio Gonçalves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Toninho da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio Gonçalves having to interfere. Vicente Brodel went to the wrong direction when Cauã Tinoco was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 84th minute, Luís Fernando Lira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Murihe SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When Duarte Quadros fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Murihe SC's protests and gave Duarte Quadros a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute, Duarte Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Tataguacu getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Betinho Azevedo hit a great ball. When Zé Machado came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Murihe SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Machado couldn't finish the play. After having played for 97 minutes, Duarte Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Murihe SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duarte Quadros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Tataguacu supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Murihe SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Murihe SC.
