Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alberto Cruz kicked off to start the match. Apua SC's Anselmo Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Eger in the 3rd minute of play. If Alberto Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Cruz in the 10th minute of play forced Centro's goalkeeper Vito Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandrinho Netto hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Yuri Secco sped through Centro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vito Goiano. Alberto Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Almir Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Eger in the 27th minute of play. Luiz Fábio Campidelis's late challenge caught a Centro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Fábio Campidelis helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Apua SC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fábio Campidelis. Josué Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vito Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Cruz in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Danilo Loyola sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Centro's Vito Goiano didn't even have to move. If Almir Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Gualter Mattos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apua SC's Alberto Cruz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 45th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Almir Mattos to make the kick off. The supporters of Apua SC booed when Centro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almir Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yuri Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Vito Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Alberto Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apua SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vito Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute, Yuri Secco made a precise shot to the right of Vito Goiano. Centro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 65th minute, Alberto Cruz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apua SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Alberto Cruz might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vito Goiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Cruz ran back to his position shaking his head. Yuri Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Apua SC's goalkeeper Anselmo Sampaio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Josué Eger. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josué Eger got free with Anselmo Sampaio in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the match, Almir Mattos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anselmo Sampaio, 4-2. Vito Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apua SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
