Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Guga Souto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wilson Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Cleiton Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6thth minute of the game Guga Souto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ginete SC's Ademar Xavier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emerson Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilson Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Santana lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sport Club Francana fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Doni Seco scored 1-0 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cleiton Massa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 25 minutes into the game, Dudu Teles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Club Francana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ginete SC the free kick. A collision led to Ginete SC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Sérgio Antunes hit a great ball. Emerson Maia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Ginete SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cafu da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ademar Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilson Velasco was the one to do the kick off. If Wilson Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 played minutes Sport Club Francana got a freekick which was hit by Mané Netto. Emerson Maia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cleiton Massa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Emerson Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 64 minutes, Wilson Velasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ginete SC and the Sport Club Francana players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Ginete SC got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Velasco. Emerson Maia succeeded in the game's 66th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Emerson Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sport Club Francana's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Ginete SC had won, even though Sport Club Francana had held more of the ball.
