Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Palestra FC's Jonathan Dante started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Augusto Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Dante in the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Palestra FC's Gilberto Bertassi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Coelho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gilberto Bertassi might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augusto Coelho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Jonathan Dante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palestra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Dante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilberto Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Coelho having to interfere. Jonathan Dante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Coelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Gustavo Lara to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match Palestra FC got a corner. Formos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Willian Palmeira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jonathan Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes Palestra FC got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Prestes. Jonathan Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Augusto Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Bertassi in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Augusto Coelho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Jonathan Dante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palestra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Dante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
