Dragão Negro FC's Luís Eduardo Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Madureira in the 3rd minute of play. When Conrado Cerezo came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Potreiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Cerezo couldn't finish the play. Luís Eduardo Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Potreiro's Wiliam Madureira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Eduardo Rossi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Dragão Negro FC defense, Conrado Cerezo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Eduardo Rossi. The Dragão Negro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Eduardo Rossi should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Potreiro's goalkeeper Guilherme Pereira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaristo Marinho. Evaristo Marinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guilherme Pereira having to make a save. Evaristo Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Dragão Negro FC's Dário Favoretto got a free kick in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Cerezo in the 38th minute of play forced Dragão Negro FC's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Pereira having to interfere. The supporters of Dragão Negro FC booed when Potreiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Dragão Negro FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Potreiro were winning 0-1.

Guilherme Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Marinho in the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Potreiro's Paulinho Arantes got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Ricardo Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Guilherme Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guilherme Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Fiori Zilles kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, Potreiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiori Zilles to maneuver through the defense. Conrado Cerezo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luís Eduardo Rossi came out and tried to block the shot, but Conrado Cerezo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Tiago Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potreiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Prestes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Eduardo Rossi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Eduardo Rossi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conrado Cerezo's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. In the 97th minute, Ricardo Fantini made a precise shot to the right of Guilherme Pereira. Potreiro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The Dragão Negro FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Potreiro's performance. The match ended with a win for Potreiro.
