Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aloísio Sergipano started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Reducao's Aloísio Sergipano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian do Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luís de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvinho Faria in the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to Reducao getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Paulo José Amaral hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Silvinho Faria notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Reducao's Luís de Castro. Luís de Castro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luís de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvinho Faria in the 27th minute of the match. Reducao's Luís de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dito Alcântara in the 28th minute of play. If Aloísio Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aloísio Sergipano in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian do Nascimento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian do Nascimento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aloísio Sergipano's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Sadio's Christian do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Sergipano in the 39th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Aloísio Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reducao's supporters rose to their feet, but Aloísio Sergipano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian do Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Aloísio Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian do Nascimento having to interfere. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Aloísio Sergipano sped through Sadio's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christian do Nascimento. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvinho Faria during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Silvinho Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute Silvinho Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias do Vale hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian do Nascimento having to interfere. If Arnaldo Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Aloísio Sergipano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian do Nascimento. Sadio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aloísio Sergipano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio Sergipano in the 87th minute of play forced Sadio's goalkeeper Christian do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sadio's Christian do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Vander in the 89th minute of play. Eduardo Bezerra's late challenge caught a Reducao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Bezerra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, Sadio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. After 91 minutes of play, Reducao's Arnaldo Vander made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian do Nascimento was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Sadio players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Reducao.
