Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thomás Vieira started the match with the kick off. Hélder Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Sergipano in the 3rd minute of the match. Evandro Arósio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Reducao's zone, Amauri Meira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís de Castro came out of the goal and Amauri Meira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 8 played minutes Thomás Vieira rounded Reducao's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. 17 minutes into the game, Luisinho Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jerumenha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reducao the free kick. The attack was good, but when Aloísio Sergipano in the 18th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 21stth minute of the game Evandro Arósio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jerumenha's Hélder Duarte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Jerumenha's goal looked a bit too open when Aloísio Sergipano came free, but Hélder Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes Reducao got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Gustavo Mesquita. After a rather tough play, Jerumenha's Bernardo Dracena got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Hélder Duarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aloísio Sergipano's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Luiz Cardozo couldn't finish the play.
