Rodrigo Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Sidnei Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Palmira getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Zacarias Zanette hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Sidnei Ferreira in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by BACURI FC's Faustão de Alcântara. Rodrigo Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caio Gerber in the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, BACURI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Téo de Queiroz came free, but Amadeu Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmira's goalkeeper Rodrigo Paranaense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Guilherme Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celso Leão during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes BACURI FC got a freekick which was hit by Celso Leão. If Caio Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. 54 minutes into the game, Dadá Antunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BACURI FC the free kick. Dadá Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Josué Nunes struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Rodrigo Paranaense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BACURI FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caio Gerber got free with Rodrigo Paranaense in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caio Gerber struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Rodrigo Paranaense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BACURI FC. Téo de Queiroz scored 1-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeu Teles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Doni Barral struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Amadeu Teles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmira. 71 minutes into the match, Túlio Ceresso notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of BACURI FC's Amadeu Teles. Amadeu Teles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of BACURI FC booed when Palmira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Túlio Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Palmira's zone, Josué Nunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Paranaense came out of the goal and Josué Nunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duda da Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Rodrigo Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BACURI FC's Amadeu Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo de Queiroz in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duda da Fonseca in the 94th minute of play forced Palmira's goalkeeper Rodrigo Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Many of BACURI FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. BACURI FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Palmira were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
