Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Arnaldo Lara started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ivo Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cássio de Carvalho got free with Reinaldo Prado in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cássio de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Arnaldo Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th match minute, Passinhos EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Veloso to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Arnaldo Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cayua EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reinaldo Prado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 29 minutes, Clemente Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Passinhos EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Cayua EC booed when Passinhos EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Lara in the 34th minute of play forced Passinhos EC's goalkeeper Reinaldo Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arnaldo Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Passinhos EC! Matías Nascimento shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivo Bittencourt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reinaldo Prado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio de Carvalho in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cayua EC's zone, Clemente Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Paulo Barreto came out of the goal and Clemente Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivo Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Paulo Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Bittencourt in the 58th minute of the match. Cássio de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivo Bittencourt hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Clemente Queirós succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 79th playminute. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Ivo Bittencourt put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Luís Paulo Barreto. Luís Paulo Barreto came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Passinhos EC's Clemente Queirós. But to his dismay, Clemente Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Passinhos EC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
