Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 4 minutes, Elói Arce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Perdoes FC and the Ibiranhem players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Perdoes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elói Arce to maneuver through the defense. After 5 played minutes, Ibiranhem's Sílvio da Costa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dênis Marinho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ibiranhem reached it. Dênis Marinho made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Tiago Saraiva sent off a good shot on target. Joélson Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 14 minutes, Tiago Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibiranhem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Saraiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiago Saraiva got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 19th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. After 20 minutes of play, Ibiranhem's Ernesto Paraibano made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dênis Marinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiago Saraiva succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 23rd playminute. Dênis Marinho made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Tiago Saraiva sent off a good shot on target. Joélson Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elói Arce in the 30th minute of play. If Tiago Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Ernesto Paraibano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Arce in the 44th minute of play forced Perdoes FC's goalkeeper Dênis Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th match minute, Ibiranhem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Furtado to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eurico Pombal to make the kick off. Elói Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson Godoi having to interfere. In the 57th minute Eurico Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ibiranhem's Sílvio da Costa got a free kick in the 59th minute. Dênis Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Paraibano in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Eugênio Dionísio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Paraibano in the 73rd minute of play forced Perdoes FC's goalkeeper Dênis Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joélson Godoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdir Palmeira in the 80th minute. The supporters of Ibiranhem booed when Perdoes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Décio de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute of the match Ibiranhem got a corner. Perdoes FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sílvio da Costa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Sílvio da Costa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Perdoes FC's Dênis Marinho did a great save. Perdoes FC's Dênis Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Paraibano in the 88th minute of play. Ernesto Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis Marinho having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ibiranhem's zone, Eurico Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joélson Godoi came out of the goal and Eurico Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dênis Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ibiranhem had won after a very even match.
