But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcinho Terra couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Marcinho Terra fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lage's Armindo Mumbach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Lage from getting a goal against them. After having played for 78 minutes, Marcinho Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Umbuzeiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcinho Terra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
