Sílvio Luís do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fábio Toledo charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fábio Toledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fábio Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Jairo Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrézinho Negri struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Mauro Veiga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Time do Budão. Jacinto Marquez made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Baixinha's Doni Terra. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinei Fontes in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Váldson Braga saved Time do Budão from getting behind. Sílvio Luís do Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Váldson Braga made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Sílvio Luís do Vale got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Baixinha booed when Time do Budão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute of the match Belchior Simões sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mauro Veiga skillfully saved the ball. Time do Budão's Váldson Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Fontes in the 36th minute of play. Sílvio Luís do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Váldson Braga having to interfere. Váldson Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 44 played minutes, Time do Budão's Belchior Simões shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mauro Veiga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Time do Budão reached it. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudinei Fontes was the one to do the kick off. Time do Budão's Váldson Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Fontes in the 52nd minute of play. When Andrézinho Negri fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Time do Budão's protests and gave Andrézinho Negri a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Time do Budão's Andrézinho Negri got a free kick in the 55th minute. Baixinha's Francisco dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Sílvio Luís do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baixinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Luís do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Váldson Braga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artur Campidelis hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Váldson Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luís do Vale in the 77th minute of play. Time do Budão's Váldson Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luís do Vale in the 78th minute of play. Mauro Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Freitas struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Mauro Veiga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Time do Budão. With a little luck, Baixinha's Mauro Veiga got control of the ball when Jairo Freitas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucas Macedo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
