Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Moisés Barbosa started the match with the kick off. Afonsinho Mendes struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Flávio Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bahus. Flávio Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Moisés Barbosa sped through Bahus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Celso Favoretto. Flávio Sena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Afonsinho Mendes went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Severo in the 25th minute of play forced ERC Catedral Três Lagoas's goalkeeper Flávio Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moisés Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Celso Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo de Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afonsinho Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Bahus's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Barbosa came free, but Celso Favoretto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes Bahus got a freekick which was hit by Luizão Zanette. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Celso Favoretto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Barbosa in the 52nd minute of play. When Eduardo de Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the ERC Catedral Três Lagoas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo de Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Bahus's Celso Favoretto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Barbosa in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Valdo Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moisés Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, ERC Catedral Três Lagoas's Diogo Botelho got a free kick in the 64th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in ERC Catedral Três Lagoas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! ERC Catedral Três Lagoas's Moisés Barbosa managed to work through Bahus's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Moisés Barbosa dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Valdo Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahus's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdo Severo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flávio Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th match minute, Bahus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Amorim to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Luizão Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bahus's supporters rose to their feet, but Luizão Zanette was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flávio Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute of the match Válter Marinho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flávio Sena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Afonsinho Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celso Favoretto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonsinho Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle sounded Bahus left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ERC Catedral Três Lagoas.
