Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Guga Maranhense kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Cauassu's Erik Sá got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Diamantino Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Leite having to interfere. In the 7th match minute, Sete Copas F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 9 minutes into the game, when Fernando Sarmento put in a rough tackle. Diamantino Medeiros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Leite read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Marcel de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luiz Reis in the 31st minute of the match. Gabriel Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Sílvio Luiz Reis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcel de Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Sílvio Luiz Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Diamantino Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Sete Copas F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Medeiros couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilson Godoi during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
