Washington Cardozo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Kléber Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Forteleza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kléber Marinho couldn't finish the play. Benjamim Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Kléber Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademir Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kléber Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademir Garcia having to interfere. Ezequiel Zilles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Cabura's goal looked a bit too open when Kléber Marinho came free, but Ademir Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kléber Marinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Cabura's goal looked a bit too open when Kléber Marinho came free, but Ademir Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Forteleza's Ezequiel Zilles got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ezequiel Zilless short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Ademir Garcia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Washington Cardozo's late challenge caught a Forteleza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
