After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Tibúrcio Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atravessado's supporters rose to their feet, but Tibúrcio Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gildo Pires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 58th minute of the match Aníbal Baptista completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The Atravessado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquim Soeiro should have stopped the shot. After 81 played minutes Atravessado got a freekick which was hit by Sydney Vides. Frederico de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Soeiro having to interfere. Jefferson Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Tibúrcio Castro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 6-1 to the left of a surprised Gildo Pires 95 minutes into the match. Hamburgberg's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
