Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fabicano FC's Vítor Furtado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Guga Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomás Munhoz missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 12 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Tano Di Paolo right hand side. Maricá Fc's Marco Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto de Lara was a little too slow when Guga Moreira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 19 played minutes Maricá Fc got a freekick which was hit by Virgílio Mazza. Maricá Fc's Guga Moreira came free and shot a quick shot against goal 22 minutes in the game, fortunately Alberto de Lara had problems saving as it came toward the left post. With a little luck, Fabicano FC's Alberto de Lara got control of the ball when Dudu Varela tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberto de Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Bueno in the 26th minute of the match. Alberto de Lara came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Maricá Fc's Dudu Varela. But to his dismay, Dudu Varela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 30 minutes into the match, Maricá Fc's Guga Moreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto de Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Marco Bueno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto de Lara was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guga Moreira got free with Alberto de Lara in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the last second Alberto de Lara throw himself and got hold of the ball when Marco Bueno in the 41stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Bueno made a kick off. When Thomás Munhoz came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Fabicano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomás Munhoz couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Fabicano FC booed when Maricá Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgílio Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomás Munhoz fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 61st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. The audience was convinced that Guga Moreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto de Lara was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Alberto de Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Bueno in the 68th minute of play. Alberto de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Maricá Fc's Guga Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodolfo Mesquita hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Guga Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maricá Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Guga Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto de Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the game, Maricá Fc's Marco Bueno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alberto de Lara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When Guga Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Maricá Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guga Moreira couldn't finish the play. Marco Bueno struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Alberto de Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maricá Fc. Marco Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto de Lara having to interfere. Alberto de Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guga Moreira in the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Dudu Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maricá Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dudu Varela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Guga Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maricá Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Guga Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto de Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Maricá Fc were the better team. Maricá Fc's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
