If Diguinho do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho do Nascimento in the 32nd minute of play forced Cumbaubas AD's goalkeeper Paulo de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Danilo Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cumbaubas AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Messias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Danilo Messias struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Marquinhos Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cumbaubas AD.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diguinho do Nascimento made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Cauan Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cumbaubas AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cauan Ferreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marquinhos Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marquinhos Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th match minute, A.D Operários was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diguinho do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Cumbaubas AD's Cauan Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, A.D Operários's Felipe Baiano got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Cauan Ferreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.D Operários's Marquinhos Moreno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felipe Baiano was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, A.D Operários's Felipe Baiano got a free kick in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the match, A.D Operários's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Messias came free, but Marquinhos Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diguinho do Nascimento in the 94th minute of the match. Cumbaubas AD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
