After a rather tough play, Laeti FC's Jerônimo Moreno got a free kick in the 9th minute. Cipoal's Luís Fernando Leite got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luís Fernando Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Capixaba having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Laeti FC's Téo Moreira got a free kick in the 17th minute. Luís Fernando Leite struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Wilian Capixaba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cipoal. Zé Augusto Lira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Natã Guedes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zé Augusto Liras short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Natã Guedes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Laeti FC's zone, Roger Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilian Capixaba came out of the goal and Roger Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laeti FC's Wilian Capixaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fernando Leite in the 35th minute of play. When Laeti FC's Wanderson Vidal in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cipoal's goalie prevented a goal. Zé Augusto Lira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Natã Guedes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manoel Netto to strike the kick off in the second half. Cipoal's Natã Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Neves in the 53rd minute of play. Téo Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cipoal's goalkeeper Natã Guedes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Natã Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Augusto Lira in the 72nd minute of play. Wanderson Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Laeti FC booed when Cipoal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wanderson Vidal in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natã Guedes saved Cipoal from getting behind. Cipoal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
