Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luís Fabiano Lima took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Quiobal AD's Pedro Luís Paranaense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dênis Arce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marajazinho's Luís Fabiano Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the game, Quiobal AD's Tomé Furtado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dênis Arce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Luís Paranaense in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dênis Arce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Pedro Luís Paranaense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dênis Arce was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 23rd match minute, Quiobal AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. If Luís Fabiano Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Quiobal AD booed when Marajazinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vágner Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Luís Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis Arce having to interfere. Dênis Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luís Paranaense in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Quiobal AD were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Luís Paranaense to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Quiobal AD got a freekick which was hit by César Mendonça. After 56 played minutes, Marajazinho's Renatinho Aguiar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Orlando Esteves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marajazinho reached it. Tomé Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dênis Arce having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Quiobal AD's goal looked a bit too open when Vágner Monteiro came free, but Orlando Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tomé Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Cauã Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renatinho Aguiar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Orlando Esteves. Quiobal AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Marajazinho's Vágner Monteiro in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quiobal AD's goalie prevented a goal. Laércio Fernandes hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Orlando Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fabiano Lima in the 79th minute of the match. Vágner Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Orlando Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pedro Luís Paranaense came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Quiobal AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luís Paranaense couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Quiobal AD getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dorival Lira hit a great ball. Vágner Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Orlando Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Quiobal AD eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
