With a little luck, Street Boys Football Club's Diamantino Cearense got control of the ball when Tony Loureiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wellington Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silas Brasil to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Riachuelo SS getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas Brasil in the 64th minute of play forced Street Boys Football Club's goalkeeper Diamantino Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ademar da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 played minutes Riachuelo SS got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo de Barros. Ademar da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Simão having to interfere. João Vítor Valladares's late challenge caught a Riachuelo SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silas Brasil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diamantino Cearense having to make a save. Riachuelo SS's Tony Loureiro got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Riachuelo SS's goalkeeper Wellington Simão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ademar da Silveira. Tony Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Diamantino Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94thth minute of the game Tony Loureiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Street Boys Football Club's Diamantino Cearense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diamantino Cearense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tony Loureiro's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
