Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizinho Cosme in the 5th minute of play forced Barbadinha FC's goalkeeper Kauan de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luizinho Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Kauan de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th match minute, Barbadinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Barreto to maneuver through the defense. Marquinhos Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauan de Carvalho having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Barbadinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Cosme came free, but Kauan de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cléber Campidelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Cléber Campidelis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ezequiel Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Elói Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute of the game, Célio Marquez landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The supporters of Axixa booed when Barbadinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marquinhos Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Axixa's zone, Cléber Campidelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elói Seco came out of the goal and Cléber Campidelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jano Moura in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elói Seco saved Axixa from getting behind. The supporters of Barbadinha FC booed when Axixa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juninho Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Ezequiel Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barbadinha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elói Seco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Axixa were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marquinhos Cosme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Marquinhos Cosme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Axixa and the Barbadinha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Axixa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Cosme to maneuver through the defense.
