The crowd rose to their feet as The Originals's Rafinha Nóbrega slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of André Luiz Silva. That made the score 2-0 after 13 minutes of play. 21 minutes into the match, Humberto Faria notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of The Originals's Alan de Amaral. Alan de Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramiro Arantes got free with André Luiz Silva in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafinha Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. André Luiz Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When The Originals's Rafinha Nóbrega, in the 62nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for The Originals. Machados's André Luiz Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Gerber in the 65th minute of play. Charles Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Silva having to interfere. Rui Pinho hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute of the match Ramiro Arantes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but André Luiz Silva skillfully saved the ball. In the 74th minute, Humberto Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles Gerber struck a weak shot in the 75th minute.
