Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vinícius Machado made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Brejao's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Arantes came free, but Silas Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Walmyr Diniz came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Brejao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmyr Diniz couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Cunha during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Advice XV de Novembro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Brejao:s goal. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Brejao. Luís Gustavo Quaresma stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving André Luiz Quintal. 0-1. In the 12th minute, Emerson Matos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Advice XV de Novembro booed when Brejao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinícius Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Luiz Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Quaresma, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinícius Machado in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Luiz Quintal saved Advice XV de Novembro from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Brejao's Vinícius Machado got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Emerson Matos fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brejao's protests and gave Emerson Matos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Brejao getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Emerson Matos hit a great ball. Emerson Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Quintal having to interfere. André Luiz Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Gustavo Quaresma in the 36th minute of the match. If Emerson Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo do Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evaristo do Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Silas Amorim had in the 42ndth minute some difficulties stopping Danilo Cunha's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Danilo Cunha took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silas Amorim. Silas Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Silas Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Paraibano in the 45th minute. Silas Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Arantes made a kick off. Silas Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Simão in the 55th minute of the match. Luís Gustavo Quaresma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Advice XV de Novembro's André Luiz Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmyr Diniz in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmyr Diniz in the 64th minute of play forced Advice XV de Novembro's goalkeeper André Luiz Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Luiz Quintal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Gustavo Quaresma in the 67th minute. The supporters of Advice XV de Novembro booed when Brejao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válbson Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st match minute, Advice XV de Novembro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Simão to maneuver through the defense. Brejao's Walmyr Diniz got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Walmyr Diniz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of André Luiz Quintal. Walmyr Diniz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 91st minute, Vinícius Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Brejao's Vinícius Machado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Luiz Quintal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4.
