Carcara SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Míticos FC the free kick. A collision led to Carcara SC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Denílson Dantas hit a great ball. Luís Fabiano Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oswaldo Queirós went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Jorginho de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carcara SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorginho de Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fabiano Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oswaldo Queirós was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 37th match minute, Carcara SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Augusto Pena to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Cléber Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilson Bueno in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Carcara SC's goalkeeper Cléber Negri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natã Paranaense got free with Luís Fabiano Amorim in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Luís Fabiano Amorim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Denílson Dantas got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Denílson Dantas hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Carcara SC's Jorginho de Carvalho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Jorginho de Carvalho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 79th minute, Natã Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Válbson Medeiros was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a little luck, Los Míticos FC's Luís Fabiano Amorim got control of the ball when Oswaldo Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo Schmidt in the 87th minute of play forced Carcara SC's goalkeeper Cléber Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Queirós in the 92nd minute of play forced Los Míticos FC's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carcara SC played a much better game than Los Míticos FC and deserved their victory. The Los Míticos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
