Xapetuba SC's Natã Sabóia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Xapetuba SC from getting a goal against them. 9 minutes into the match, Xapetuba SC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo da Silveira came free, but Natã Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 played minutes XV de Indaial got a freekick which was hit by Cido dos Santos. The supporters of Xapetuba SC booed when XV de Indaial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor França didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Xapetuba SC's Fernandinho de Azevedo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. João Augusto Zonta might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faustão Lara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Augusto Zonta ran back to his position shaking his head. Faustão Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovani Prestes in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, João Augusto Zonta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Faustão Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Hugo da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wanderson Messias got free with Natã Sabóia in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maurício de Medeiros took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faustão Lara. Faustão Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Wanderson Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Natã Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 played minutes XV de Indaial got a freekick which was hit by Igor França. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind XV de Indaial's goalkeeper Faustão Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xapetuba SC's Natã Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo da Silveira in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Xapetuba SC booed when XV de Indaial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Augusto Zonta was the one to do the kick off. Wanderson Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natã Sabóia having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Xapetuba SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Dantas to maneuver through the defense. Natã Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Hugo da Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Hugo da Silveira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The XV de Indaial fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Hugo da Silveira scored 2-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natã Sabóia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the game, Régis Pimenta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. XV de Indaial's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xapetuba SC the free kick. 84 minutes into the game, one of XV de Indaial:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Faustão Lara went to the wrong direction when Fernandinho de Azevedo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Anderson Abreu charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anderson Abreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in XV de Indaial fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Faustão Lara had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Fernandinho de Azevedo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When XV de Indaial's Wanderson Messias in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Xapetuba SC's goalie prevented a goal. Wanderson Messias succeeded in the game's 100th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-3.
