Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tarcisio Varela made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Baraunense FC's William Seco got control of the ball when Wanderson Cosme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enéas Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but William Seco made a huge save. William Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarcisio Varela in the 12th minute of the match. When Tarcisio Varela came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Xanxere SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tarcisio Varela couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Baraunense FC's Tales Vander got a free kick in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the game Luís Fábio Gonçalves kicked a great long shot which passed William Seco straight ahead into the goal, Result 1-0. One couldn't see Luís Fábio Gonçalves behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. After a defensive mix-up in Baraunense FC's zone, Wanderson Cosme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Seco came out of the goal and Wanderson Cosme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wanderson Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. William Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Tales Vander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wanderson Cosme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Tales Vander made the kick off in the second half. Wanderson Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. William Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 minutes, Acácio Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baraunense FC and the Xanxere SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Baraunense FC got a freekick which was hit by Acácio Azevedo. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Xanxere SC's goalkeeper Silvinho Monteiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silvinho Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tales Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Guilherme Alves struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Silvinho Monteiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baraunense FC. 71 minutes into the game, Anísio Koehler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baraunense FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xanxere SC the free kick. Tarcisio Varela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Seco having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glauco de Lara in the 77th minute of play forced Baraunense FC's goalkeeper William Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tarcisio Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Seco having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Baraunense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Vander to maneuver through the defense. Luís Fábio Gonçalves took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for William Seco. Baraunense FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 92 minutes, Ernesto Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xanxere SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tarcisio Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. William Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xanxere SC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Baraunense FC for a fine match.
